We met just as I cried out to a disapating storm.
With good intentions,
I pushed forth.
With green eyes,
We were rendered inable.
With a social rebellion without hesitation,
We captured each other.
With green eyes, we were ensnared.
And thus my heart sprang reborn,
Tiptoed back joyfully.
Our souls touched
Through our foreheads
I had my hope renewed,
Giggles returned to my throat.
My voice once again bounced off the walls.
And my childish beliefs of love,
Pure and honest as the raindrops
Seeping through my hair,
Found me rested in strong arms.
Stronger than my demons of lust.
Stronger than my fears of future follies.
Just as strong as my heart's rhythm.
Fluttering in unison with his.
